Children’s Entertainment in Primary Schools
I perform a large amount of magic shows for kids. From kids birthday parties, weddings, holiday camps and schools. Here is a true story. Although not too funny it amused me making me consider teachers and just how their brains work… differently from others! Martin the Magician.
The special moment show was over. I rapidly packed away my props ready to create a rash exit in the school. The show went well, about 200 children intrigued with silliness, magic and juggling.
Used to do the best trick, suspending a tumbler filled with water upside lower on the teachers mind with only a sizable playing card stopping everything receding over her. Children usually have loved this routine. “Now shall I distance themself the credit card?” After a little teasing they shout “yes” I usually reply “you rotten lot” I actually do it and also the water remains suspended within the tumbler until its release, falling and splashing in to the plastic bowl. I Then tell the kids to visit home and test the fit Mother and Father, “try not to blame me whether it goes completely wrong” I only say. “Yes we’ll” all of them bellow back.
